Couldn’t have said it better myself : )
Listening to this song a lot this week. Not only a really catchy sing-along tune, but a big, glittering, spotlit, profoundly sad observation on celebrity death.

Jean-Claude Van Damme + Arnold Schwarzenegger + Bruce Willis + Friends + Dancing + HAIM’s “Falling” x Leonard Friend = Hooray!
Inspired by Tupac Shakur’s posthumous appearance at last year’s Coachella, Leonard Friend’s “Holograms” is a catchy and very contemporary but somewhat depressing meditation on nostalgia. As opposed to the version on the synth-tastic LXLP EP, though, this live take features multi-instrumentalist (and producer and songwriter) Alex Feder breaking out the electric guitar and turning up the noise.

Shlohmo and Jeremih - “Bo Peep.” Really really loving this.
That time I put on my “We Are All Beyonce” tee shirt and played “Holograms” live.
